My skin condition is combination skin with a slightly oily T-zone and at times dry on the cheeks. Proper diet, exercise and skin care regime are essential to good skin.

With that said, I can’t deny that the application of a foundation is the key to a smooth, glowing skin tone. I would usually opt for a light cream base and balm, rather than thick liquid foundation.

Anyway, here is a picture of my favourite makeup bases. I use them interchangeably with a couple more often than others. So far, these products did not give me breakouts or clog my skin. Those who did, however, were quickly discarded or given away.

Favourite makeup bases

1. Make Up Store Base Prep review

Rich in vitamins and antioxidants, it gives the skin a radiant and mild pearly complexion.

Make Up Store Base Prep

So one day, I found myself at the Make Up Store in Paragon (Singapore), actually I was shopping for a lipstick when the salesgirl persuaded me to grab this base. I was initially hesitant since I’ve never tried their range before. But there was an offer going on, so I grabbed a tub. It is close to a pearl cream but thinner.

Make Up Store Base Prep on my skin

As you can see, it glides well on my skin. Rubbing it evenly will give the skin a glow-like effect. I use this for special events because it doesn’t come with SPF for daily usage.

2. Kameria Baby Face Anti-acne & Pore tightening BB Cream review

Do not be deceived by its small packaging. This small tube of 5g packs a punch. As you can see below, I have squeezed the tube almost dry. My favourite BB Cream for now.

Kameria Baby Face BB Cream

I was looking for a BB Cream at Watson’s and wanted something to test first, since I had a horrible experience with one particular cream that clogged my pores. This small tube was going for $5, and I thought why not. Made in Korea, this particular cream is suited for anti-acne and pore tightening.

Kameria Baby Face BB Cream on my skin

The colour is slightly lighter than my skin but it is smooth and blends well on the skin. It covers redness on skin, and the best part is my skin doesn’t feel oily the whole day. Highly recommended.

3. Estee Lauder CyberWhite Brilliant Cells Extra Intensive BB Creme review

I use Estee Lauder cleanser and serums regularly, it was only a matter of time before I try their BB Creme.

Estee Lauder CyberWhite Brilliant Cells BB Creme

It has a thin cream texture that evens out well on my skin. Doesn’t clog, but I feel like I need to put on more powder to get my makeup to stay on my face.

Estee Lauder CyberWhite Brilliant Cells BB Creme on my skin

A decent product, only use when I run out of Kameria Baby Face.

4. MAC Mineralize Satinfinish SPF 15 Foundation review

Since I don’t wear foundation on a daily basis, I keep one for special occasions.

MAC Mineralize Satinfinish Foundation

The pump bottle doesn’t allow me to control the amount of product that comes out, but it is more hygienic that way I guess.

MAC foundation on my skin

Spreading out the foundation gives my skin a bronze-like tint.

Evened out MAC foundation

A trusted foundation, gives my skin the added glow.

5. Chanel Base Hydrante Lissante Radiance Moisturizing Base review

This is my current favorite base, used daily.

Chanel Base Hydratante Lissante Age-defying Radiance Moisturizing Base

I am developing a certain affinity towards Chanel skincare line. This base is cream-like and blends into the skin. It gives the skin a natural moisturizing effect, like an extra coat of moisturizer.

Chanel Age-defying Radiance Moisturizing Base on my skin

Easy to use, and it smells nice.

6. Clarins Beauty Flash Balm review

A beauty cult favourite, I bought this product out of curiosity. It has the same effects as pearl cream to me, except it is a light cream, like a gel.

Clarins Beauty Flash Balm

It seeps well into the skin and skin perks up quite a bit.

Clarins Beauty Flash Balm on my skin

My only gripe is that it doesn’t contain any SPF. So I use it as a base for foundation or top it up with UV cream.

So there you go, my favourite makeup bases!

Foundation makeup is the key to whether your makeup will look good or bad. The application of a foundation will help to smooth out your skin tone, conceal blemishes and give you a more healthy glow. Applying makeup without a foundation base can actually enhance unsightly skin problems, rather than conceal them. But before you head out to the store, here are some basic rules that should be followed when making your product selection.

How Do I Choose A Foundation Makeup Base?

First, you need to select the correct color for your skin tone. Often times, people choose foundations that are either too light – making them look pale and washed out – or too dark – which often leaves a line of makeup between the jaw and neck. Generally, you will look like you’re wearing a mask. The foundation color that you choose must blend in with your natural skin tone.

Also keep in mind that your skin tone color will change with the seasons. In the summer, you will most likely need a slightly darker foundation color, as your skin will tan somewhat (even if you don’t purposely suntan – you still need to go outside sometimes.) In the winter your skin will lighten again back to its original tone and you should use your natural base color foundation makeup.

Deciding Between Liquid and Powder Foundations

The next decision is to determine whether you would prefer powder foundation or liquid foundation makeup. This tends to be more personal choice, although there are pros and cons to both types.

Most women seem to prefer the liquid foundation base. It appears to be quicker and much easier to apply. As well, once blended into the skin, liquid foundation makeup appears more natural and lighter, giving the skin a smooth, even appearance. However, how it is applied can also make a difference. Applying too much will cause streaks and spots that look “heavier” then others on your skin. Using a makeup sponge rather than using a fingers can help a lot with creating a smooth, even appearance. Apply a small amount of liquid foundation at a time and blend in carefully.

Another advantage of a liquid foundation is that it absorbs into the skin rather than sitting on top of it, so you get a more natural skin tone appearance. It also comes in a variety of bases to suit women with dry skin, normal skin, oily skin, combination skin, and sensitive skin types.

Powder foundations are a less popular choice, but can work just as well as liquid foundation makeup. It’s easy to apply and there is less blending involved. They are also great for people that have very oily skin, as the powder will soak up the oil and prevent a greasy appearance. You can also carry a compact powder case with you on days when you need to do a slight touch up to your makeup or on days that are hot and humid, to rid your face of shine.

A slight problem with powders, however, is that they can look like they are caked on your face if applied to heavily or after a couple of hours in warm weather. They also tend to rub off on clothes easier since the powder sits on top of your skin.

Another Choice: Liquid-Powder Foundations

Liquid-powder foundation combinations are another choice that is gaining in popularity. The foundation makeup comes in a compact, much like powder bases, but contains a somewhat creamy mixture. Application of this foundation gives a smooth appearance, like a liquid, with the absorption benefits of a powder. However, you have to be careful when applying this type of foundation, since a heavy hand will give you a caked appearance. Like liquids, the key is to apply it lightly and blend well. This combination is not the best for people with dry skin as it will also give you a patchy skin appearance. Choose this type of product if you have normal to oily skin.

If this is the first time you are going to buy a foundation, you should visit a make-up counter that allows you to try out the various products or seek out a professional make-up artist to help you with your selection. For those that have problem skin, such as severe acne breakouts, you should visit a dermatologist first. They can help you with making a wiser choice on the type of foundation makeup would work best, plus provide you with other skin care options to help clear up underlying problems.

Remember, the best makeup techniques start with a good foundation that is appropriate for your skin type and skin tone. Be smart and take the time to research what is out there before spending money on any product. You’ll be happy you did.

I shall start the year with a “What’s in your bag?” article. A must-have for every girl is a handy makeup bag where everything you normally put on your face is within reach.

To be honest, I am not really a makeup person, like I can go out of the house bare faced with just moisturizer and lip balm and run my errands. So I don’t really use makeup full on, sometimes just the bare minimum as long as I look presentable.

But still, I always carry my makeup bag when I go to work. OK, here’s my daily makeup routine. Moisturizer, Hydrating base, compact powder, lip balm, lipstick and sometimes top with lip gloss, eyeliner sometimes coupled with eyeshadow. And once in awhile I swipe my blush.

So anyway, here’s my makeup bag. It is a souvenir bought by mum when she holidayed in Jordan. I like the orange-brown colour of the bag and it holds my essentials, not too big nor too small. Just nice.

Brown makeup bag

A peek inside my bag. The zip opens on top and I don’t have many stuffs inside so things don’t fall out.

A peek inside my makeup bag

Most important item is the powder. Currently, using Zea compact powder. This case has a pale pink tint.

Zea compact powder

I’ve been using this particular case for a few months now. I like how there is a separate compartment for the sponge. It opens up easily too unlike some other powder cases.

Halfway through Zea compact powder

Silkygirl eyeliner in black. Long wearing eyeliner. It stays on and gives my eyes the extra definition. A must have in my bag.

Silkygirl eyeliner

This is for emergency. In case a pimple decides to pop up or my eye bags get too apparent, I use this as a concealer. Chanel highlighter face pen, the brush at the tip makes touching up less messy.

Chanel highlighter face pen

I am obsessed with hand creams. I have this fear that my hand will get crinkly if I wash the dishes or do the laundry too long. So I will carry one tube everywhere I go. The hand cream in my bag is Dead Sea Treasures Hand Cream. Again, another gift from Jordan. It is thick and white, somewhat like Nivea but has an oceanic smell to it and is rich in minerals from the Dead Sea.

Dead Sea Trasures Hand Cream

I change lipsticks whenever the mood strikes. I have a lot of pinkish and pale colours, a couple of bright reds and some nude colours. Currently using Maybelline caramel lipstick, it gives my lips just the right amount of colour. I’ll probably do a review on some of my favorite lipsticks soon. And oh, the colour of the cover matches my bag so perfectly.

Maybelline caramel lipstick

Lip gloss, used when I feel I need the extra glow. This is MAC lip gloss in pink. It looks quite dark here but it is actually rather pale.

MAC lip gloss

Another obsession – lip balms! I have a handful of lip balms from flavored, minty and tinted. But this has to be one of my favorite items in the bag – Burt’s Bees Rejuvenating Lip Balm. It is flavorless and does its job well.

Burt's Bees Rejuvenating Lip Balm

A couple of perfumes for emergency. Here are sample perfumes from Salvatore Ferragamo and Chanel Chance.

“It requires a direct dispensation from Heaven to become a walker.”
~Henry David Thoreau

With the new year upon us, everyone I know is looking for a fun and easy way to get fit. Here’s a solution I’ve developed that doesn’t involve costly equipment or a ton of time.

Before you commit, first ask yourself: Would you like to:

• Lose weight?
• Improve endurance?
• Tone muscles?
• Enjoy long range health?

Did you know that you can reap these benefits (and more) just by walking? You can! But, what most people don’t know: In effort to achieve a certain result quickly, it pays to use a specific program (or a combination of them).

After you’ve make the commitment to a walking program, next you’ll need to establish your goals. Ask yourself: “What’s my main fitness priority?” Then you’ll need only match up your goal to one of these five programs. Choose from: weight loss, cardio conditioning, muscle toning, long term health or a combination of all of these.

Here’s a thumbnail sketch of each simple program:

Weight Loss:

Benefits: Flatten tummy, shrink hips, tighten thighs, reduces excessive fat.

Type of walk: Moderate; 45-60 minutes, daily.

Calories expended: 2,000-2,500 per week.

Cardio Conditioning:

Benefits: Strengthens heart, improves aerobic endurance, helps you perform better during other aerobic activities and helps you recover more quickly from physical exertion.

Type of walk: High intensity, brisk pace; 20-30 minutes 3-4 days per week.

Calories expended: 800-1,000 calories per week.

Muscle Toning:

Benefits: Improve muscle strength, endurance, body firmness and increase metabolism.

Type of walk: Moderate, with resistance; 20-70 minutes 2-3 days per week.

Calories expended: 500-3,000 calories per week.

Notes: Use hand weights-light hand or wrist weights and swing them in a controlled manner. When doing so, flex your arm muscles, keeping them as close as possible to your upper body.

Long Term Health:

Benefits: Done consistently, this walk will increase energy, reduce stress and fatigue, improve risk of heart disease, improve mood, improve self-esteem and ad years to your life.

Type of Walk: Consistent walks; 30+ minutes, daily.

Calories expended 2,000 per week.

Have It All! Mix And Match:

Type of walk: Choose one program each day, 4 times per week.

My Mom’s story: When I was a teen-ager my mother and I used to exercise together. After some years, however, my Mom’s priorities changed and she found herself about 30 pounds overweight. Once she made the commitment to make a change, she used the combination of a daily walk and a sensible diet. The result? She lost one pound per week for 30 weeks and is back to her thin self once again!

A couple things before you begin. Most importantly, before you begin any fitness program, check with your doctor. Also, to make your walking workout a positive experience by investing in proper footwear. You will want to have flexible sneakers, walking shoes or (what I usually recommend) “cross-trainers.” They are available at all sporting goods stores: make the investment, you’ll be glad you did!

And speaking of proper form, most people also do not realize that there is a “way” to walk for the greatest benefit. It’s easy! First, strike the ground with your heel, rolling your foot to your toe. Then, push off with your toe. Repeat this with your opposite foot.

That’s all there is to it! With a little effort and your new flexible shoes “made for walkin’” you are well on your way to reaching your healthy goals for the new year!

1. Go for a walk even when the weather is really cold – your body has to work overtime to get warm and you may burn up to 50% more calories than you would on the same walk in summer! But remember, go a little slower until you get warm and keep up the hydration.

2. If you find it hard to get motivated to exercise in winter…just think of spring and how much harder it is to get back into shape rather than maintain your fitness throughout the winter.

3. Be aware of tendonitis and stress fracture if you don’t exercise in winter and expect to pick up where you left off after a whole winter with no exercise.

4. Instead of picking up a cup of hot chocolate to keep yourself warm, try a herbal beverage.

5. Gain an interest in indoor sports as opposed to cycling and jogging outdoors. Don’t forget that swimming at an indoor pool is an option for a great cardio workout!

6. The cold air and indoor heaters can dry out your skin. Make sure you drink at least 8 glasses of water each day and use moisturizers throughout winter.

7. Buy some indoor plants to soften up the dry atmosphere caused through heating. Indoor plants give off moisture and oxygen and the colours will brighten up a dull day outside.

8. Caught a cold or flu? If the infection is above the neck (nose, throat) you could be OK to complete a low intensity workout. However, if you have symptoms that are worse than an average cold (chest congestion, muscle aches), exercise will only make you worse and delay your recovery. Rest is the best medicine.

9. Wear the right clothes when exercising in winter. Polypropylene is the perfect fabric to wear underneath a tracksuit, which will provide great insulation but minimise moisture loss. Gore-Tex is a fabric used widely for providing protection from the rain and wind.

10. Feel like sitting on the couch with a video and snacking on a cold, wet day? Reach for a protein bar or packet of soy nuts instead of high energy, high fat snacks.

A little sunshine is essential in achieving optimum overall health and well-being. Medical studies show that as much as 15 minutes of sun exposure a day may help the body produce vitamin D which is important in the prevention of osteoporosis, hypertension, cancer, and other autoimmune diseases.

Vitamin D is a fat soluble vitamin that is found in some foods but is produced in body with the aid of ultraviolet (UV) rays of the sun. This kind of vitamin is essential in maintaining the proper level of phosphorus and calcium in the blood.

Vitamin D, combines with other vitamins, minerals, hormones, and other substances to maintain strong and healthy bones that will not easily break or become brittle.

However, extended exposure may cause many skin problems like early-wrinkling and skin cancer. Other factors like pollution and the thinning of the ozone layer have posed additional health risks for the skin.

Too much exposure to the sun may damage the texture and weaken the elastic attributes of the skin. The outer layer of the skin called the epidermis may become rough and wrinkled as a result to over-exposure.

Sun-induced skin damage may cause wrinkles, furrows, easy bruising, or brown spots. In the long run overexposure to the sun’s ultraviolet rays may lead to cancer. But because this skin condition is cumulative, it is never too late to make adjustments to protect one’s self from the sun’s harmful effects.

The advent of various skin care products like sunscreens are designed to help protect against the sun’s harmful effects. Many kinds of sunscreens are out in the market that contain many ingredients that work by scattering, redirecting, or properly absorbing the sun’s rays.

Sunscreens are available as lotions, creams, sprays, lip balms, and many more. These products can be bought over-the-counter and without a doctor’s approval. In addition to these products, foods rich in selenium, beta-carotene, Vitamins A, C, and E may alleviate the harmful effects of the sun.

Like other forms of medication, side-effects may be developed with the use of skin care products. Here are some of the side-effects that can be developed with sunscreen use.

acne
burning, itching, or stinging of the skin
redness or swelling of the skin
rash, with or without blisters that ooze and become crusted
pain in hairy parts of body
pus in hair follicles

Individuals who decide to use sunscreens and other skin care products should seek the approval of health professionals. Even though most of these products are can be bought over-the-counter. They may still carry health risks.

A doctor’s approval is necessary to clarify side-effects and interactions that may be developed while using sunscreen products.

Skin care these days is an essential part of a healthy regimen because of the abundance of environmental pollution, global warming, and the thinning of the ozone layer.

Without taking care of the skin, individuals may heighten the risks of developing skin ailments like psoriasis, skin cancer, and other skin conditions. Understanding proper use of skin care products and maintaining appropriate sun exposure is essential in maintaining healthy skin.

This looks like a girly perfume with a pink potion and a pretty-looking bottle, even the box is lined with pink interior, and the Givenchy logo is a hint of metallic pink.

But a spray of Dance with Givenchy will not exude any fruity flavor like Raspberry or Strawberry as is common with pink perfumes.

Instead the scent leans more towards floral and subtle refreshing sweetness.

The 50ml size allows the bottle to fit snugly into the palm. The grip size is practical and allows better hold to the bottle.

Dance with Givenchy was inspired and designed on the base of Prisme, signature make-up collection by Givenchy and introduced in the beginning of 2010.

What’s in Dance with Givenchy?

Composition of Dance with Givenchy shows hints of jasmine, ylang ylang, apple, mandarin, orange blossom, wood and musk

What are the critics saying about Dance with Givenchy?

There are mixed reviews for Dance with Givenchy.

On one hand, Dance with Givenchy is a practical perfume, wearable and befitting for daily wear.

However, for special occasions or dinners that perhaps require a more intense flavor, this perfume falls short.

Some call it “a thin breeze of spring”.

If you are looking for a subtle scent that is not overpowering, something more floral than fruity, then this perfume may be perfect for you.

Give it a try!

Right…so your new acne medication promises fast results in 10 days, but you’ve got to face the world today.

What can we do to tie over the proceeding period before the acne goes down?

Well all you need is to learn a few creative acne makeup concealing tips to help you look your very best at school, work or play.

But remember — Makeup conceals acne, it doesn’t cure it!

But you already knew that, right? Using makeup to conceal acne isn’t difficult, but there are some basic rules that you should always follow.

Your basic acne makeup toolkit

Your three acne hiding weapons will be a concealer, a foundation and a finishing powder. Stay away from the dollar store and use only brand names that you can trust.

Choose only oil-free makeup products that match your skin tone. Oil-free is the key to success here so read the labels carefully. You don’t want to aggravate your existing acne problem by layering a fresh coat of oil on skin that already has too much to begin with. Choose a hypoallergenic brand while you’re at it.

If this is the first time that you are using a new brand, test the makeup applying small dabs to a spot under your jaw to see how your skin reacts. If you are going to have a problem you’ll know within an hour or so after applying it. Nothing’s worse than adding more blotches to an already colorful face.

Before you begin

Wash your face with your normal face cleansing product and pat dry. Apply your acne medication per the instructions and let it dry throughly.

Start with the concealer

Apply the concealer in a light dabbing motion directly to any dark blotches or red areas that the acne has produced on your skin. Blend the concealer in using a disposable facial sponge. Use the concealer sparingly. You can always apply more if you need it but you don’t want to layer it on too thickly. It will look terrible when it dries.

Next, apply the foundation

Apply the foundation sparingly as well and use a light dabbing motion here too. Blend the foundation with your sponge and reapply to any areas that need it.

And now for the final touch

Apply a light layer of the oil-free powder using a large makeup brush. This will take care of any shine that the acne concealer and foundation left behind and it will give you an even and finished look.

Throw away the disposable sponges when you are through so you don’t transfer yesterday’s skin oil to tomorrow’s clean face!

Before you go to bed

Wash your face throughly to remove all makeup before you go to bed, but preferably as soon as you can after you return home. You want your skin to breath and your acne to get as much fresh air as possible.

There is something elegant about the taste of pears that makes them a good ingredient for desserts and salads.

Salads need not necessarily be about leaves and legumes, sometimes two fruits that balance each other in taste can create a tasty salad dish, like this pear salad.

The sweetness of pears and the sourness of tomatoes somehow bode well together.

This pear salad was created by accident.

Benefits of pear salad

Pears are excellent source of water-soluble fiber.

They contain vitamins A, B1, B2, C, E, folic acid and niacin. It is also rich in copper, phosphorus and potassium, with lesser amounts of calcium, chlorine, iron, magnesium, sodium and sulfur.

Some variety have more iron content than others. This can be seen when a cut pear turns brown. If it doesn’t turn brown, it means that the iron content is very low or non-existent.

Ingredients for Pear Salad:

1/2 medium onion chopped

1 pear chopped

3 medium tomatoes diced

1 teaspoon of Olive oil

Salt & Pepper to taste

Toss the ingredients together to make sure there are well mixed. Interestingly, the subtle sweetness of the pear will balance the tangy and sour tomatoes, coupled that with salt and pepper, you have for yourself a savory pear salad.

As with most salad, you can always add anything to suit your taste – nuts, flax seeds, berries and other fruits or leaves.

How do you eat a pear salad?

A pear salad is good for you if you are on a diet and need something filling but nutritious to eat.

You can eat it on its own.

Pack it up for lunch at work.

Or have the pear salad as a side dish for fish, chicken or meat dish.

If you have trouble munching on your greens or leaves as some of us do, switch you diet to fruits like this pear salad for a healthier choice.

WEDDING HAIR STYLES INSIDE INFORMATION

Your wedding hair planning has begun. It seems that there are so many details you must complete at the same time. You’ve imagined that you’ll have the most beautiful of wedding hair styles.

But will it match with your wedding dress and wedding hair accessories and will it be complimented by the bridal wedding hair styles of your bridesmaids? All of this wedding stuff already has you almost overwhelmed, so you think, “I need help”.

You’ve come to the right place. I’ll help you look like the stunning, romantic, storybook bride that you always fantasized that you’d be. You see, for over 20 years I have helped brides with their wedding hair and bridal makeup.

Finally I will give you some inside information that other salons don’t want you to know regarding wedding hair styles services and contracts.

WEDDING HAIR STYLES- WHERE DO YOU START?

Wedding hair styles and bridal makeup plans should be formulated at least 3-4 months before the event. Have your hair stylist show you some pictures of their work on brides or of special event hair styles. Bring the wedding hair pictures displaying the styles you like the best.

Pictures of wedding hair styles are one of the best ways to avoid bridal hair disasters. Pictures will help eliminate misunderstandings between you and your hair stylist.

Be practical. Try a style that is comfortable for dancing and moving around. Consider the wedding location’s climate (humid, dry, wet, cold, too hot).

Make a selection from wedding hair styles that will match with the style of your dress. Keep your desired bridal hair styles in mind when picking out accessories.

ACCESSORIES AND BRIDAL MAKEUP

Wedding Hair Accessories like hair ornaments and headpieces should not overpower your wedding hair. If you plan to wear a more elaborate headpiece, your wedding hair style should be simple. Bridal Tiaras can be very flattering.

Very simple jewelry will do for the bridesmaids. Stick with earrings, bracelets, or rings, but avoid necklaces. The entire bridal party should have one theme for the wedding hair styles and bridal party make-up. However the bridal party could all have different hair lengths, color and texture of hair.

Your bridal make-up should emphasize the eyes, lips, and skin-tone as these parts should be camera friendly at all times. Remember that bridesmaids are to compliment the bride and are not there to overshadow her.

WEDDING HAIR STYLES TYPE

It is not a bad idea to have an up-do, if your dress covers all the way to the neck. Don’t be afraid of a short hair style especially if you are petite. Short hair can be one of the more sexy wedding hair styles.

It is usually better to not to request a classic hair do with a contemporary wedding dress. If you have your heart set on one of the classic wedding hair styles, then it should be a casual one.

For a modern or classic Victorian style, one of the beach wedding hair styles is better whenit is a basic chignon or down hair style with simple, loose curls. Soft curls give you a very romantic look. This goes for the bridesmaids as well. It is better that they all follow the same pattern.

The bridal party should wear the same color and style of dress as well as a similar hairstyle. For example, either all the bridesmaids should wear flowers in their hair or no one should at all.

WEDDING HAIR STYLES TRYOUT SERVICE

What’s the best way to check the look of all the wedding hair styles in your bridal party? Easy, it is to have your entire bridal party make a visit to a salon for a wedding hair style tryout.

Salons usually give a tremendous discount for wedding hair style tryout service since they know you will like their work and that subsequently you will book your wedding party with them. It is common for salons to present a contract to brides.

WEDDING HAIR STYLES CONTRACTS

Make sure to read your contract carefully before signing. Read every word and make sure to ask questions if you don’t understand something. If you are uncomfortable with the wording, it is fair to ask that the contract be changed.

Don’t just gloss over the details of the contract. It should include important information such as the date of your wedding, the types of wedding hair styles and bridal make up services to be rendered.

Many salons will ask for a deposit to hold the appointment in advance. Some contracts will state that deposits are nonrefundable.

If your wedding hair styles contract has such a clause determine if there is a grace period. Pay a percentage of the service and not the whole price. Also make payment with a credit card. Should there be a problem or dispute, you will have a better chance of getting your money back.

CONGRATULATIONS ARE IN ORDER!

Congratulations on finding your husband to be.

In this article I gave you great tips that will help perfect your wedding hair styles and bridal make up. I’ve also given you some inside information that other salon owners don’t want you to know regarding services and contracts.

Now, take a deep breath and breathe out all of your wedding anxiety. Relax; it’s just easier to turn over bridal hair styles planning to a professional, isn’t it? Of course it is.
